Lives and works in Paris.
Bert Rückert is born in Marktredwitz, Germany.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Münich, and graduated in 1985.
In 1989 he came to Paris for the first time with a scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts.
